Father E.
I'll preface by saying I am very biased towards Compaq. Having said that, here:

Compaq servers sales are smokin!
The May 11 issue of information week reported a survey of 2,000 large US corporations in the 1st quarter of 1998 showed over 60% purchased Compac servers. Compare that to just over 10% for Dell and 20% for IBM. The article also stated compaq's new 333 MHz Proliant 3000 dual processor server can access up to 3 Gbytes of memory. Competitor's dual processor servers only support 1 Gbyte. That gives Compaq an advantage in the very profitable server segment.
