1. This type CA is rare

2. Tobacco smoke contains some 2000 chemicals and gases. Possibly some are helpful? MANY are ill defined and complex.

Note: the majority of pharmaceuticals are derived from plants.

I infer here that more tobacco alkaloid study may be beneficial. If I had CA I would want to explore any and ALL possible treatments; infact, the development of a pharmacological use for tobacco seems reasonable.

Plant alkaloids may be added, modified and changed using genetic engineering in the native plant. If fact, certain chemicals are best manufactured by the native tobacco plant. I would expect you will read more about this in the future.

Suffice it to say, tobacco cos have been working in this area for many years and I believe the area is a "sleeper."
