Pat,re:"increase in April figures". I read that and felt relief.
Anyway, just added a little at $56 1/8. Hope it will turn around
soon. Will buy at most 2 more times and wait.

While one can take some comfort in the comment that DSP orders picked up in April, I think that the pertinent comment that explains price weakness is found in the comment that Revenues would be flat:

"Given the uncertain near-term outlook for the semiconductor market, our best guidance for the third quarter is for revenues to be flat to up a few percent compared to the just-finished quarter. This scenario would likely produce third-quarter earnings per share relatively flat to the second quarter,with some improvement during the fourth quarter."

Even so, I added to my TXN position at 56....I'm long and confident in this company, and merely sought to explain recent price weakness.
