Hi I'm a new subscriber who is beginning to follow several biotech
companies and also laser surgery. I am a pharmacist at UCSF. Several clinical trials are performed there that I have some limited knowlege of. Concerning VISX, (I had surgery myself using the Nidek laser) Since I've been following this thread I havent heard any mention of the Keraring, the intrastromal corneal implant. Can someone tell me their thoughts of this seemingly potential competitor to laser eye surgery in the future? Is it just generally accepted that laser surgery already has an established foothold and consumer preference and therefore intrastromal corneal implants will not impact VISX's future business to any material effect? Thankyou.
