There was no US Military encryption on board the crashed commercial satellite. Even if there were such a device on board (note I said "even if") it would not do the Chinese any good since you need the encryption key to decode any data and this key is constantly changed. Your US version of Netscape or IE internet browser contains versions of US encryption technology, however obtaining a copy of this will not allow you to decode secured transactions.

Jeff, I'm just hoping the stock gets tanked, personally. More, more, more. The lower the better. I bought 20 Loral 2001 leaps yesterday at a darn good price and am hungry for more (or probably now the stock since the 2001 leaps ran huge late yesterday and don't seem to want to give back much.)

I sold my prior Loral at abt 33 to lighten up a bit, since I was still holding tons of Gstrf. Its down quite a bit but really, who cares? My gaze is focused on 2001-2.

My comments on the Drudge rumor report were worst case. And it still wouldn't amount to squat for Loral. He is often massively wrong and doesn't check. Basically, he just reports whatever journalists are whispering about, provided it fits his own political agenda. Which is not friendly to William Jefferson.

But, ahem. Back to the point.

Sell, sell, sell. Sell me some Loral real cheap you'all. Please?

Doug
