Obviously, there is nothing anyone can say that you can't alter to fit your view; therefore, I will refrain from wasting any further energy discussing this with you. I will only say that the reason that others are reducing price or upgrading content is that they are marching to a price structure set by Dell.

Maybe a better way to look at it is analysts' estimates improved this quarter. Maybe they are beginning to get a better handle on Dell. Or maybe Dell guided them up to protect existing s/h following the earnings scare from Compaq. I think you're treating the earnings estimate as some kind of passing grade from a company, like 65% when I was in HS.
