According to the May 18 issue of Business Week, p. 38, Windows 98 enables "true plug and play"; also, the boot up is much quicker, "an 'on now' feature keeps the PC in sleep mode until you need it."

this will be a great improvement for me; it takes me forever to boot up.

Marion, you definitely screwed up in not getting Win 98.
