I just got off the phone with Communications at the ASM. I asked how certain presentations were selected for media coverage. They told me that an ASM committee reviewed the 3000 abstracts and selected a little over 100 that they considered worthy for media exposure. They would not tell me which media were present as a courtesy to the reporters. I still believe as I heard earlier that the major ones are attending. Basicly the ASM submitted the press releases to the media and it is up to them to carry it further. Check the ASM web site. I am proud that ADVR was selected from 3000 abstracts and will be presenting to the 12,000 attending this important meeting! asmusa.org Notice how ADVR will be the first media presenter tomorrow and among only 8 for the day! Let's hope and pray that ADVR makes headlines tomorrow!
