Took, and added short positions in Dell with an average price
of 93.5. I am hoping to stay disciplined and ride it down
all the way to 60's. This is one of the bigger bets I have made
in the past few eyars.
The only thing that worries me in the near future is that msft
will do the sane thing(and compromise on win98) which will
cause dell to irrationally go up.

Paul, what you say is true in the case of Dell and maybe a couple of others. Back when I was in the options getting, well, actually I still am, the options expire worthless. And I worked for Cullinet (a mover at the time) and Legent. Both gone, actually both bought for pennies by Computer Ass. Hmmm, that says something right there I think. If I were a paper millionaire I wouldn't walk either.
