Microsoft's (NASDAQ:MSFT) Allen may sell 2 mln shares

WASHINGTON, May 19 (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp. co-founder Paul Allen has sold over nine million common shares of the company since February and may sell another 2.0 million, filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission said.
Allen, of Bellevue, Wash., sold 9.215 million shares of the Redmond-based giant software company from February 11 through
May 5, Form 144 filings on May 11 and 12 said.
And he may sell an additional 2.0 million shares through Minneapolis-based Dain Rauscher Inc. that have a total value of
$171,948,750. Microsoft's latest quarterly filing with the SEC reported 2.46 billion shares outstanding.

2.46 Billion shares outstanding!!! Talk about dilution

The chart looks like a downward trend may be forming. I may be wrong but I personally think it is too late to join that party, at least at these prices. Wait until gates starts some real unloading! My advice is to follow Paul's example. He probably is in pretty good shape to judge MSFT's potential versus current share price <g>

Ed, you hit it right on the head with msft. as an mcse i can tell you 98 is only a 1/10 of everything. not worried at all about the justice dept.
