David: Thank you too for responding to my question about body tolerance. I used the cancer example as a clear case of a specific mechanism being used by cells to get around their downfall. I was really wondering whether specific mechanisms could be conceived that
would lead to weakening response to pramlinitide. Your point about the body maintaining equilibrium is well taken, short of specific biomechanical reactions.
At some point, we'll have a better feel when the ongoing trial results are in.
