>>On the other hand, if the assets remained a part of Osicom, such an explosion of sales and earnings would help the present shareholders.<<

Are you certain that the assets won't remain a part of Osicom. So far all we've seen is a short press release and it has been posted here that beyond that most of the details are not worked out yet. I figure that Net arm was about 1/3 of the future of FIBR, so maybe I'll sell 33% of my fIBR to come up with the money to exercise without shelling out more from my pocket.

The issue is this simple:

Osicom has decided that it must sell something to raise capital. Net+arm is the best candidate. They can give you a chance to buy it or sell it out from under you.

I prefer the opportunity to decide for myself. If they go out and sell it to "Chips R Us" I get no choice in the matter. If they just give me the shares then they raise no capital.

I was not happy when I first read the news release and I still would prefer that they keep the company together but if they must sell this way is the most fair to me.

I still agree with you Charles. Par needs to go. His fat ego is the biggest obstacle to market acceptance of this company and their products. And they better start announcing some sales soon too. If not, we could be talking the "B" word around here. Has anyone heard anything from someone in the company? I haven't been able to make contact.
