John, This is good news indicating that we are up and running again. What is the realized price on average on these 2084 carats? March,9 to april 26 is 7 weeks of production. Lets suppose that we are running at 50t/hre (vs 30t/hre for the stated period) for a period of 52 weeks: For the OTJUA concession: 1244 carats x 50/30 x 52/7 weeks yields annual production of 15402 carats. For offshore production: I will simply extrapolate the 840 carats figure: 840 carats x 52/7 = 6240 Total extrapolated annual production is thus 15402 + 6240 = 21642 carats. How does these numbers fits in the projected 50000 carats for fiscal 98 production, as stated in the 97 annual report? We will need to increase production rate substantially since we are already half-way through fiscal 98. Regards DN
