Not sure what's wrong...

Bob, I think you are placing a lot of weight on something minor.

First, Caribou Coffee is **not** local to MN. There are two Caribou coffees within 5 minutes of my house in south Oakland county (MI). This is a national chain.

Second, he does have experience in software sales.

Third, CFOs find it easier to move between industries then lets say CEO's. Their allegiance is to accounting and finance principles, they don't have to restrict their talents to a single industry.

My read of this news is that TSQD/DR is continuuing to build a management team. You only get a CFO if you see yourself having a future...and if you need to prepare documents in preparation for a IPO. I think it is mildly good news, I don't see any downside to it.

DR CFO
I live in the area (twin cities), Caribou coffee was started locally and experienced rapid growth, if he was connected with them, that was a good thing. I also am aware of software etc., I believe they used to have some retail outlets and at the time of his involvement did quite well, I don't know where they are now but in my opinion these were fine companies for him to be involved with.
I also would not make much of this issue (as Doc says). Form a year ago with about 10 employees to hiring a successful CFO it looks like positive news to me.
