still time - but you're right - the bleeding is beginning - wait until the weaker sisters or those with weak n/t prospects get to 80-90% book value , then wait a couple more months for the remaining hands to give up on the stronger stocks (like they have not already! AMAT, NVLS excepted) and we are golden. Ideally at this time we will be hearing stories about the end of the sector etc etc.

Patience for me. Still expecting more blood, much more blood - but would not fault any long term holders for starting to dollar cost average back in into COHU (absolute low likely 25% down further), etc.. KLIC can wait a bit more. Could go to 15 I think. KLIC more ferocious than COHU.

Shane.

<< Anyone have any target purchase price/strategies they wish to share?>>

Here's one of mine, FWIW. This is an initial list for an "inquiry point"
for the issues listed. I might revisit UTEK, for example, although to
tell you the truth I wasn't really going to buy any at 17 - I'm just not
crazy about the company. I am already buying ASYT and COHU,
although I'm hoping to see a solid gain for Asyst today based on
earnings -- I always thought it was a mistake to group it with others.
I'm not buying SpeedFam right now, either, as it should have further
to fall given the downgrade, and I'm worried about AMAT. In other
words, like I said, this is a few months old. Also, I really don't expect
mask co's to get this low.

The "Purchase Price" is my target price for purchase, and any
issue that shows a positive gain is considered for purchase.
