Lee, This is what I posted the first time.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I will add, DELL's ability to beat estimates is diminishing also. Weather this is due to large numbers or the analysts being more aggressive, DELL beat numbers by a mer 5% this quarter, the lowest in 6 quarters. This pay lower the ability to expand its PE multiple. At this point of DELL's advance, multiple expansion is necessary for the stock to move higher.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Note, "This pay" should have read "This could"
But that is not important to this discussion. (I have no idea how that one sliped by)

This is just to point out that I did not change the subject. in my clarifying statements.

Jim

Lee,

Is it possible that the analysts are learning to value DELL more accurately? As I recall, last year this time, they were predicting that DELL would show a quarter to quarter decline. Based on the performance by CPQ, HWP and IBM, they should have done that this time, too, so based on historical <g> data, they should have predicted DELL to come in at about .30 or less. Maybe some are reading this thread?

regards, 3.
