How does the x'd out trade work? Is that when you buy some stock and then the you realize that the stock may not be going up, so you cancel your trade after you buy the stock and you get your money back?

My broker doesn't work that way. If I put in a market order and then try to delete it, it's gone and I'm stuck with the stock.
