Mason,

since SEMI averages over 3 months, then:

March 98 (revised) 1,102.1 = (J + F + M)/3
and
April 98 (preliminary) 1,074.0 = (F + M + A)/3

Subtract and multiply by 3 to yield A - J

Then divide by 1102 (well, I should really divide by J instead of by 1102, but I'm not given J, so I use 3 month average as a close approximation). You get a ~ 7.5 % drop in bookings from Jan to April, which is the result I gave in my previous post.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
