*AV*--The only reason I spoke of IC manufacturers yesterday was due to the drop in ADI price and the conversation initiated by your comments.
Other than the interest in the 4-5 stocks (I forgot about ADI being part of the SOX so LLTC may not necessarily have to round out the group) I highlighted as new considerations, I am not highly positive in this area at the moment. I still beleive we are in a sideways to negative timeframe for the tech sector.

I am making strategic purchases to ensure I able invested in the areas I want to be in such that I do not miss the next train leaving the station. While I tapped resources from one bucket, there is still some cash and a whole lot of margin still to wade through. In good conscience I cannot be pro-IC stocks for the time being. We may see the "doldrums of Summer" play out once again and the quarter we are in right now may be the bottom earnings reporting quarter with a possible turnaround. If not, it will be the September ending quarter.

In other words, it is not yet time for this sector. We have a period of time prior to a turnaround. A majority of my purchases recently were strategic and on a timetable for future sales.
