Sam you said,
>> Don't you find it strange that the resurrection was not mentioned in all writings of Paul.? <<

(Acts 9:20 NIV) At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God.

What do you think he was preaching. THe people knew what had happened in Jerusalem.

(1 Cor 1:5-6 NIV) For in him you have been enriched in every way--in all your speaking and in all your knowledge--because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you.

WHat testimony do you suppose that is?

(1 Cor 1:14-17 NIV) I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius so no one can say that you were baptized into my name. Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don't remember if I baptized anyone else. For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel--not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

GOSPEL = GOOD NEWS
what is the power of the cross? Paul knew it to be the victory over death.

AND DID YOU SAY THE RESURRECTION IS NOT MENTIONED BY PAUL?

(1 Cor 15:1-8 NIV) Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.
By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
that he was buried, THAT HE WAS RAISED ON THE THIRD DAY according to the Scriptures,
and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve.
After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.
Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,
and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

I have no spin about Paul. He said he died daily (1 Cor. 15:31) and he did. He sacrificed his life of sin to FOLLOW Christ and attempt ot save some souls.

>>David was one of his favorites. He forgave one of the most evil people in describing his lusts and murder<<

Isn't God Great? that he could forgive such men makes me have so much more faith and hope. What a God!!!!!!

"Paul also said he died daily and was raised in Christ. Now did he perform this supernatural act every day. I know what he was saying."

Paul died to himself, or in other words, he killed his ego (fleshly desires) so that Christ may be glorified in him.

Rom 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Rom 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

1Cr 9:15 But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void.

1Cr 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

1Cr 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily

So what do you believe he was saying?

"David was one of his favorites. He forgave one of the most evil people in describing his lusts and murder."

David sinned as we all do, but to characterize him as "one of the most evil" is an injustice. Hitler was evil. David was characterized as being a man after God's own heart.

"Moses was a pretty mean fellow too. He reprimanded God for evil thought and made God repent."

Please quote chapter and verse.
