Monopoly's Minimized Response to Consumers

RE"You might want to read last Fall's annual printer roundup in PC Magazine. The color inkjet section. The Mac's print quality was the worst of the whole bunch."

One firm's response to competition in the market place:
Dwight, Apple's Color printers from Cannon sucked wind compared to the Epson line. In response to Competitive pressures, and unable to Force consumers to buy these products, they have dropped their entire mediocre printer line. So much the better for us all.

PS: As to Apple's wildly successful "Plug and Play" innovations, I will not comment except to say that this has little to do with Microsoft except as an example of monopolistic sluggishness. Successful or not, tiny Apple began 12 years ago what giant Microsoft has just turned its attention to. Buy the way, if you want to have some real fun, post those Apple "Plug and Play" observations of yours on the Apple board and stand back. HR
