Copied and pasted from the GMGC thread. BTW, I own a small amount of GMGC, as compared with my large amount of DGIV. Bought GMGC at 6 1/2. saw it drift down just under 4 over 3 or 4 months. Held on because I believed in the company's fundamentals. Eventually it paid off, and I saw it go to 15. Did not sell, and it is now down to 10 and change. I don't care, I am LONG, just as I am on DIGV, which has vastly higher potential. Here is the post:

Right on!! That's why there are so few Buffett's. Only the 'long
termers" make really big money in the market....most, if not all,
traders die broke....sure, they get a "system" that beats the
(casino) for a while...then, "things change" and they get whip-
sawed back and forth...the "switches and vig" get 'em in the
end.
