Do you honestly believe Koch is lying (spreading misinformation) about the process they will use to extract the bitumen? What is there to be gained by that? After all, the SOLV process is hardly new ... been around for sometime now (19 years?).

Koch did not buy SOLV - just the assets from what I can see. That would mean that the common shareholder is out - not only not included in the new deal, but, in some cases, also a lot of money.

I'm really curious ... when will you admit to making a mistake with this one? It's ok, we've all made mistakes.

I think Koch was telling the truth...conventional methods (not SOLV's) will be used to extract the tar. As for the mineral process...well, I for one am not holding my breath (much to many's disappointment, I'm sure).
