Company Press Release

Starnet to Broadcast World's First Live Internet Greyhound Racing and
Wagering

WILMINGTON, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 19, 1998--Starnet Communications International Inc. (NASD/OTC
BB:SNMM) (''Starnet'') is pleased to announce that it has entered into a simulcast agreement with three premier Greyhound
racetracks in Florida, to provide the world's first streaming live coverage and pari-mutuel wagering on dog racing events via
the Internet.

The Jacksonville Kennel Club, the Orange Park Kennel Club and St. Johns Greyhound Park form the ''Jacksonville
Greyhound Racing Circuit,'' which collectively hosts over 400 Greyhound racing events year-round. The Jacksonville and
Orange Park Kennel Clubs have been in operation since 1935 and 1946 respectively. St. Johns Greyhound Park's inaugural
meet as a dog racing facility was held in 1977. Since 1990, the Jacksonville Greyhound Racing Circuit has been simulcasting
its events via closed-circuit television to what now amounts to 85 locations throughout the U.S., Mexico and Trinidad.

Coverage from these facilities will be broadcast on Starnet's Internet gaming site, WORLD GAMING
(http://www.worldgaming.net). World Gaming patrons will have full access to the system's features, including up-to-the-minute
track, program and handicapping information, and live, streaming, audio/video racing coverage. Viewers outside of the U.S.
and Canada can place wagers on the outcome of the Greyhound races with World Gaming's secure on-line financial
transaction system.

World Gaming Services Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Starnet, is licensed in Antigua to accept and process wagers via
the Internet. In addition to ''Netcasting'' and pari-mutuel wagering on international dog and horse races, the multilingual World
Gaming system features virtual casino games, a Sportsbook with a live odds feed from Las Vegas, a virtual Bingo hall and an
international lottery ticket brokerage. World Gaming, in conjunction with its global marketing partners, promotes these
pastimes to Internet bettors residing outside of the U.S. and Canada.

PC Computing magazine has estimated that the Internet gaming market could reach US $20 billion in annual revenues by the
turn of the century. ABC Nightline, a national news television show, has described Starnet as ''a reputable pioneer in Internet
gambling.''

Starnet (http://www.starnet.ca) is a fully reporting, publicly held interactive entertainment company, which identifies and
commercializes Internet technologies for established markets. Starnet's revenue-generating websites receive over 6 million hits
per day.

Jim: I think you are right and we won't here any news here before next week at the earliest. The company did a good job last week and put out the release saying that the promised announcement is delayed because they were asked to expand the deal. But I doubt they will get the whole thing ironed out in such a short time and have a release ready for tomorrow. Friday would not be a good day to issue any type of significant release since many people will be taking an early start to the 3 day weekend. With the light trading I think the MM's will have a good time on Friday manipulating the price. I bet we see it trade into the .20's.
