CALGARY, ALBERTA--Canop Worldwide Corp. announced today that Mr.
John A. Habbishaw has been appointed President of the Company and
a director, replacing Dr. Ken King who has resigned for personal
reasons. Dr. King stated, "I am pleased to leave the Company in
the capable hands of John Habbishaw and the Board." Dr. King
remains available to the Company on a consulting basis during a
transitional period.

Mr. Habbishaw is a geologist with 28 years experience in oil and
gas exploration, conducting domestic and international operations
from bases in Calgary, Houston and London. Subject to regulatory
approval, Mr. Habbishaw will subscribe for a private placement of
100,000 Canop shares at $0.50 each. The private placement was
negotiated based on recent market prices.

Canop Worldwide Corp. is a Calgary based international oil and gas
exploration company listed on the Alberta Stock Exchange.
Presently the principal focus of its exploration activity is on a
3.8 million acre concession in Tanzania in which it holds a 100
percent working interest.

Canop offers the investor the "Canadian opportunity for
international petroleum exploration and development."

Both Canop shares and warrants trade on the Alberta Stock
Exchange.
