Chris Matthews on Hardball (CNBC) has just been doing an absolutely outrageous job of scandal mongering on the China missle issue. He does not begin to have the understanding of the issues that at least a dozen people on this thread do, and he keeps asking questions that imply the worst sorts of transfer of missle technology to the Chinese.
DeDe Myers did a pretty good job of setting him straight on some of it, but of course he then justed changed the subject.

This isn't gonna blow over soon. The irresponsibility of the press on this is awe inspiring.

Stock is gonna tank for some time over this.

I've followed the thread for a long time although I don't post. I'm not offended by criticism of Mr. Burton or Mr. Drudge. What offends me is OPINION which is touted as FACT. Big difference. Some opinions are more equal than others I guess. (Apologies to G. Orwell). JLA
