I think it was speculators getting in with the news of Suharto might announce his resignation as early as tomorrow. There will probably be a gap up in the morning on IIT and TLK. Once Suharto does resign, I suspect there might be a sell-off as uncertainty will settle in again on Indonesia's leadership.

"The Indonesian rupiah fell as much as 7 percent, after Suharto resigned, appointing his friend and vice president B.J Habibie to replace him.

The rupiah weakened to 12,050 to the U.S. dollar."
