Bill: I was speaking in reference to point 5 of the conference call synopsis, which states VLNC expects to support customer needs for high volume production early next year.

I didn't listen to the call myself, but I found this to be the most important thing said.

My perspective is that companies invariably put the best spin possible on the situation, so I tend to look at announcements with a critical eye. Thus, my take is they can produce a good product by hand, but have yet to demonstrate they can produce at volume. Thus, no contracts.

Bill, do you agree with point 5 of the synopsis as posted here?

WM: I agree, and wish I'd caught this thing on tape, but I was doing 3 things at once and playing "court stenographer" just about pushed me over the top. ;-) However, if I'd had the time I'd of asked only ONE question, and it would have been based on L.D.'s comment about those 2 OEM's. He clearly stated they were satisfied with the results of their evaluation of VLNC's first round(I'm assuming they tested product not based on his announced improvements) of product. The question I'd of asked, which unfortunately wasn't asked, is; "Based on these 2 OEM's having stated their satisfaction with your product, what is your best guess regarding when they'd be willing to sign on the dotted line?"
