I've summarized some of the points Rick made in the interview I referenced in the previous message.
______________________

VRD in cellular phones is approximately two years away

Rick reiterated the importance of Microvision's intellectual property efforts

Microvision has a number of programs in place to take VRD to the medical (surgical) market during 1999

Microvision's scope of opportunity is broadening globally

Company X is a European Company

We should see products available for the market in late 1999/early 2000

Rick explicitly mentioned entertainment, wearable computers, and cellular phones as areas in addition to defense and medical science as areas where VRD will have products over the next few years

Rick believes a key selling point for VRD in military applications is that it can enhance the effectiveness of operating units, and, therefore, help reduce the military's overall cost

Rick believes that Microvision will break-even during the year 2000 or 2001

VRD has the ability to be used as a camera (I'm not quite sure what how this would work.)

Microvision will demonstrate a laser projection television toward the end of this year

Microvision currently employs 70 people and probably will have 100 employees by year end

The Company is on track to have revenues of between $8 - $10 million this year

Cheers,

Stephan
