Great idea for a thread. I to have real time streaming quotes, but am interested in the advantages of Level 2. I also look for 10 to 12 percent, and like to liquidate my holdings before the close. The only time I use a market order is when a stock is fast moving [which seems to be alot lately] especially on the sell...If the stock starts to take a downturn I will also eat a loss, I dont want to be turned into a long term trader. I would be interested in any strategys that are used, especially when determining a top. Also if a stock gaps up say 2 points, what is your determing price, when it starts to fall, to jump in. I feel that sometimes it is just guess work. You have to have the zanax ready to commit 20k ,and watch the stock go down 1/2 point from your entry...Any comments.
