Tom,

Aint no experts here they all f'd off over to the CWA thread<GGG>

You are right. Archean staked some huge chunks of real estate in one fell-swoop. Only one leak there (see the little block in the SW part of the main block). I concur that this project went from obscurity to disbelief to rocket-like.

Hey Tom Thanks... I remember reading something (even though it was quite awhile ago) about the 2 guy's that made the discovery...

Weren't they flying home via a helicopter when they noticed that the ground in that particular area was different than that of other's ... Something about the shape and colour of it...

Now I could be wrong about this, but I do believe that they staked the ground before they shopped the property to Friedland and various other exploration company's... I also remember that Friedland needed some convincing before he believed that there was something other than diamonds in the area as he had hired the two to search for diamonds and I don't think he owned that particular piece of property at the time... I could be wrong, as me memory ain't so good anymore, but that's my recollection...

It would be nice for someone to come aboard this thread that played the NVB based on the trading patterns and the rumours that abounded... It would be neat to compare notes to this play...
