Interesting post. I agree with you that Cisco is on the "rich side" probably due to expecations of their foray into telephony. Cisco is leading here in a major way.

As for your assesment of ASND, their 40PE is high considering their past few quarters...I think this is what briefing.com was eluding to. Let's face it, they are looking at indicators and TA, not fundamentals. Still, ASND may indeed show a 40% growth rate next quarter and perhaps even the quarter after that but I don't think this is sustainable. Furthermore they haven't got the product breadth so if LU, NT, CSCO, and others make plays into the ATM/FR backbone market ASND stands to get hurt..they are much more narrowly focused which equates to more risk. So, possible acquisitions aside ASND is trading around where they should be. I can't see them in the 60's in the absence of talkover rumors.
