Re exercise of options and stock sales

Well, darn, Kool Kat!!!

Here I was, about to turn bearish. Ol' Jim P had me all in an uproar, because of all the insiders exercising options and immediately selling their stock. Now you go and shoot another arrow into the carcass of Ursus Ultradellus, telling me that there is a good tax-related reason for doing that. And here we all (well at least Candlestick, Hank, Jim P, and Lucretius said they did) thought the insiders were bailing whenever they sold 5-10% of their holdings.

I wonder if it's too late to cancel my limit order to sell at 1500. Perhaps I should take advantage of the lapse and go long? <g>

Seriously, would your CPA friend be willing to provide a detailed explanation at some time? Inquiring minds, you know.
