I am curious - which company are you referring to? I recently corresponded with a widely accepted cluster guru and he saw FC as a very viable I/O cluster. It also may be a moot point if the product actually supports it out of the factory - since Ancor has had to build FC LANS from the ground up before there were any other FC companies or server manufacturers that supported FC. I think you could install FC I/O on any server. I would like to see someone use an MKII for both processor and I/O clustering on the same switch/fabric and advertise this.
