RE: anyone want to talk about SATELLITES?

I think we need more satellites and less gold. A only looked at a few satellite stocks and am still trying to figure them out. So far, to buy with a 3 - 5 year holding time, this is the one i like best

American Mobile Satellite Corp (SKYC)

communications, dual-mode mobile messaging, position reporting services, and satellite telephone to the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and hundreds of miles of U.S. coastal waters. American Mobile services are used in the transportation, field service, maritime, two-way messaging and telemetry markets.
The company's major shareholders include Hughes Communications Inc.,
Motorola, Inc., Singapore Telecom, and AT&T Wireless Services.

Maybe i'll look at it somemore later. Going to the beach.
