XLNX, ALTR, LSCC, ATML all down today on pretty good volume but I can't find news. I'm not the most connected guy in the world but does anyone know anything? I'm not sure how much longer I can hold off buying these guys at these prices...

Hmmm...I guess I hit the wrong button.

Once again, some short interest numbers:

ALTR 8,047,887 as of 5/15/98. That's up 2.3% from 7,868,806 on 4/15/98.

XLNX 4,556,916 as of 5/15/98. That's up 6.6% from 4,276,254 on 4/15/98.

According to this post XLNX's shorts are up 60% from March. Can't say that I've verified that.
