All, lots of short-term bad news for Intel today:

1)http://biz.yahoo.com/finance/980521/research_a_9.html
DMG analyst keeps buy rating but wary of 2nd qtr.

2). Packard Bell says will use Cyrix chips in its low end. This is bad news for 2 reasons. Obviously, Intel loses a customer for its Celeron chip. But, it may also intensify or lengthen the PC price wars.

3). I listened to the meeting Q&A from yesterday. Not very inspiring for short-term stock price. Intel put on its conservative face again. Andy was asked if he thought Intel's stock price was undervalued at this point (1st question). He mumbled that he couldn't win no matter what he said..not a very good response. How about saying confidently that he thought Intel's shareholders should receive a nice return going into the future???

Hopefully, $75 will hold, but if not, we're going to see $60s I'm afraid. Of course, I'll be a big buyer at these prices. Good luck.

SEMIHH - Re: " Irrelevant, next question....try sticking to the topic "

You said there was grey market in Intel chips in Hong Kong and I simply asked when you were there to see this.

Your evasive response speaks for itself - you weren't there and you haven't a clue regarding any grey markets.
