This stock is so tarnished by manipulation right now that I doubt we will dig ourselves out for at least a few weeks. It's frustrating to see because it delays any hopes of getting listed, it casts doubt on the company, etc. But I'm long for the same reasons I've been long: great concept, management that has gained my trust, outstanding partners, and (since May 15) delivery of a product that has the potential to fulfill the promise of the concept. The problem isn't just TokyoMex. The C&D recommendation put us on the defensive. The Dow Jones article gave credibility to C&D and all but stated that this was an Internet vaporware company. The bid/ask has been dropped relentlessly, even immediately after very large buys that were filled on the ask. I suspect there are doubters who look at all the PR and see it as cover for a company that has no substance. And so on, too many potential factors to specify. Once doubt is cast upon a bulletin-board startup, it's hard to turn the momentum. What will turn the momentum? First, I think, some peace and quiet. There's so much hype and hysteria swirling about that any rational investor starting their DD today would be scared off. We need some time off from the day-to-day frenzy. Second, I think we'll see some credibility come our way when respectable journalists come in and wrestle with the implications of the ProNetLink concept. These journalists should not be the financial reporters: the story here isn't the stock. Rather, we need the people who cover trade and international relations, people who will appreciate the profound economic transformation that ProNetLink represents. Third, most important, we simply need the company to do what it set out to do. I'd be overjoyed if the next PR we see from Glenn is an announcement that ProNetLink has signed up its 1000th member. That will be some concrete evidence that the concept is right, the time is now, and ProNetLink is the company.
