(Nasdaq: RVEE - news) today announced record quarterly and six months earnings for the period ended April 30, 1998. Net income for the quarter was $770,385, or 11 cents a share, a 28% increase from prior year net income of $601,527, or 8 cents a share. For the six months ended April 30, 1998, net income was $933,411, or 13 cents a share, a 24% increase from prior year net income of $751,938, or 10 cents a share. Revenue increased 7.7% to $39.7 million for the six months ended April 30, 1998, also a record from prior years' revenue of $16.8 million. ''Our Company achieved the best results in 20 years in business due to our focus on shifting product mix to higher priced motorhomes,'' commented Newton C. Kindlund, Chairman and President. Kindlund added, ''We expect the increased revenue and earnings trend to continue as we strive to meet growing consumer demand in higher priced products as well as a continuation of a favorable economic environment.''
