Larry, Actually, breakeven every quarter will put them out of business in two years, since breakeven eats cash. I don't believe the current estimates at all. If they aren't just putting every chip they make into their phony inventory number, MU could lose a buck a share this quarter. I know they won't report anything like that, but a little detective work should show where they are hiding the losses.

And, yes, for Technical Anals and other momentum players, a turnaround has been promised for several quarters. The longer it becomes evident that a turnaround is a dream that is never coming true, the more possible it becomes for even the price momentum oriented and Judas goat followers to figure out that this stock is way overpriced. <G>

From a fumblemental point of view, do the earnings of MU
have to get worst every quarter ?
Or just bad quarter after quarter ?
(1) Dec 1997 $0.04
(2) Mar 1998 $-0.41
(3) May 1998 $-0.38

If MU really loses "only" .38, I will cover my short in an instant! Even Dan "The Bull" Niles thinks MU will lose more money this Q !
