when your president, Slick , started to speak the SPX was trading at 1117.50 this is a good test for your drop down on Willy theory........ hmmmm that doesn't appear to be what I meant , but....... I guess, I'll leave it .......ggggg

lisa I have had similar problems E* trade, but didnt have the patience to follow thru like you have. My most recent, where we have traded 4 e-mails, has to do with a market order to sell Pfizer that was trading at 115 5/8 and PUTS on Pfizer that were sold 2-minutes later. They executed the Pfixer order at 115 1/8 about 3 minutes later. Their first excuse (in writing) was that they had to buy back the put first so as to not leave a naked PUT position (as you knwo a put does not protect the underlying stock). Their second excuse was (the guy that wrote the first letter did not know what he was saying) that the order was executed in 3-mins which was right for that stock on that day . Unbelievable that an actively traded stock like PFE would have taken 3-mins. I have asked for arbitration. They said that they would look at it in more detail. Havent heard anything yet since May 12, 1998. Your post has given me the encouragement to follow thru on my complaints. Could you post (or e-mail) the name and tel# of the NASD attorney and the address where you filed the complaint. Thanks Ratan
