Carl, I didn't miss it....I'm just not sure I buy it. I find the statement by Mrs. Atkinson to be somewhat contradictory: "I don't think any of us understood how long it was going to take because we were naive when it came to how important it is to them," she says, referring to the government of Venezuela. I believe that Ms. Atkinson's comments are realistic albeit cursory. The general lack of knowledge of the Venezuelan social, economic and political systems have always clouded the views of individual and professional investors alike. What "we" consider best for the Venezuelan people is not usually what they perceive to be in their best interest. Their view of their own best interest does not usually include Yanqui interference and biased opinions based on our "holier than thou" first world perspectives. wayne
