Apparel Technologies Obtains $2 Million Working Capital Loan
COMMERCE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 21, 1998--APPAREL TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (NASDAQ:APTX - news), announced today that it has consummated an agreement with an institutional investor for a loan to APTX of $2.0 million over the next 90 days, of which $600,000 was advanced at the initial closing earlier this week.

The funding will be used by the Company for working capital and general corporate purposes. The loans bear interest at the rate of 6% per annum and are convertible into Common Stock at a specified rate, subject to the right of the Company to repay the loans.

The Company will continue to seek additional sources of working capital to fund its operations, including debt and equity financings, joint ventures and licensing of its proprietary technology.

Apparel Technologies, Inc. provides advanced proprietary technology for digital fabric printing, manufactures apparel for leading national retailers and designs and installs state-of-the-art retail fixtures.
