If NMPS can contain their arrogance, the FDA will now tell them exactly what they need to do to get approval and if they do exactly what the FDA tells them, their chances for approval are very good.
That is the route NPTH took after their blunder.

NMPS now needs a partner with somewhat deeper pockets and if they go that route there is hope for them.
