Gary, if the shareholders approve, the $29 is guaranteed. However, this will be paid in stock, as opposed to cash. Thus, the $29 may equate to more than one share of qntm, or less than one share on qntm. It doesn't really matter what the ratio of shares is, although I'd feel better if I ended up with more shares that I currently own.

I like qntm because of the financial strength and manufacturing expertise. ATLPA is/was competing in a market with a much bigger players - like HP and Storage Tech. ATLPA survived, even thrived, on its superior technology, and its ability to work quickly and efficiently with their OEM's. However, it lacked the big fish status.

ATLPA will remain autonomous, but enjoy the financial backing and prestige that qntm brings to the table.
