Hey Kevin, are you sure you're not Melissa in disguise? Boy, you sure do ramble.

Since when should companies get credit for simply fulfilling their obligations and giving their customers their moneys worth?

At a macro level I agree with you. However it is not clear to me why Cisco is unhappy. The fact is that they are, and turning an unhappy customer, especially one as demanding as Cisco, is worthy of credit. If Siebel heads need to roll for letting matters get to that point, then that should happen as well. But give the guy or gal who turns it around some credit.

To net out your two points:
1) 100% cust sat is not achievable/sustainable
Yah. You and I know that. So what's your point? I may be a COBOL hack but I know that it is great marketing, especially to CEOs and CIO and sales VPs. I think even Farber and Melissa believe it.
2) Support knows better than sales that 100% cust sat is crap
Yah. You think it may be because they know a lot about cust sat because they (support) actually live it day to day? Duh!

...you CANNOT not have a support system in place...
Grammer (sic) is fine. Spelling needs some work. :-)

Hey, is the mobile product done yet? When can we take a look at it? Tick, tick, tick...
