Ann I hope you will answer this one last question. If you believe in a Creator God, please tell me what are His attributes?

Respectfully yours,

Tom

I did not post this information to you, but would be happy to resume our discussion. I believe we were talking about women's issues. Allow me to repost my last message to you as I am interested in what you think. - DLL

Ann;

Two things. First right from the start in the Hebrew Torah, women are esteemed by God.
Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
This is the beautiful picture of equality that God intends us to have, it is obvious that humankind wants no part of God's standards for he is continually ignored. The fact that imperfect men have not obeyed is not God's fault. We all should listen to him more.

Second. It seems to me that if the fact that women give birth would give them an unfair advantage over men. This is because women have a natural connection to their children (through bonding of feeding, smell, and the physical bond of birth) that men cannot. To me the fact that God called men to lead is probably a responsibility God gave because men are less responsible. Men can impregnate and leave, and this is not what God wants from us. His insistence that men take a leadership role says more about the inadequacies of men than of women. I also think that had men not been given this role, they would become virtually unnecessary because of the natural connection to the mother. To me this is a beautiful picture of Gods design. That a man leave his mother and father, cleave to his wife and out of loving sacrifice care for her needs, while she cares for the needs of the children. I am not suggesting subservience, only that the pain of bringing a child into the world helps to motivate women to put their children first. While I as a man find it easier to put my wife first and this completes the picture. I do not mean she should have to be the care giver, only that this be her orientation in the family. I know this seems old fashioned, but if everyone submits to Gods will it can be a very workable relationship. INHO God designed it that way because he knew men would be the problem, not women.

PS If you look at Genesis you will see that God did not differentiate. Adam named women. God said when he saw Adam he was incomplete. It was not until there was a woman that he looked at the two of them and called them man. It took both halves to complete the love of God, and both are equally important in his eyes.

Ann here is the experience I had as it was explained by Paul. The comments in brackets do not belong in the scripture. The reason it uses the Christ Jesus is the translators understanding was limited to his own understanding inserted Jesus as being the Christ.

It doesn't take a genious or theologian or an anti-Christ to understand what it originally stated before the Romans altered Pauls words to fit in with the false religion they had promoted. Consider this: The first 4 "gospels" were the works of the Romans who promoted the Petrine teaching of a supernatural God, with the ability to perform supernatural acts. Paul, on the other hand taught the mystical awakening he had experienced.

You have seen demonstrated here, the lack of perfection in Sam, and you have also seen this same lack in the promotors of the Messiah believers. Paul describes the same duality that I am aware of thru a revelation. Their spin is to promote their theology over the Pauline doctrine and go back to the Pagan Mithra - Hebrew belief in what would deliver them from the evils they experienced. This was very clearly presented in "Ur Marcus" the first book they forced on the peoples belief. The Jews would not buy it as it contained bits of truth of their belief, with the concocted way they came up with. The Ur Marcus was so inane the Jews wouldn't buy it so Paul's teaching was becoming the revelation believed over the false religion. It was so powerful a message that they could not overcome it. Then after the death of Paul and believers of Paul; the Romans edited Ur Marcus and named it Matthew. Then they added the other three Gospels.

In order to win over the Pauline faithful they made His teaching to agree with what they created. By burning all original writings and making subtle changes here and there made it the rest of the bible.
If you want to know how the canon was decided historians will tell you the Romans decided the holy literature and what writings were inspired at the government 'Nicene Council."

I left the inserted Jesus where it was attached to Christ, in order for you to see how easy it is to create semantical difference.
As I said it doesn't take a genious to see the God Paul proclaims was not in evidence in the rest of the bible.

I Corinthians, Chapter 13

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ [the Spirit of Love-Wisdom], if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit; . . . fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem the other
better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this Mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus [the perfected and Self-realized man or woman]: who, being in the Image of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon
himself the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross [of birth into matter]. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every other name: that at the name of Christ Jesus [the achievement of AT-ONE-MENT] every knee should bend, . . . and that every tongue should confess that Christ Jesus is lord [that the Perfected man is the direct expression of the Inner Lord or Higher Ego], to the glory of God, the Father [the Inner Lord is the direct expression of the Divine Spark].

Anyone without prejudice, using an open mind, should be able to use his ability to reason and see why the original manuscripts are not available. They should understand why the only papers are in Greek.
The dead sea scrolls are from the Essene sect's belief in the Mithra beliefs that existed in this period. Since the bible used that belief in adding its spin so it would be accepted by some sects, Included various beliefs of the times.
