AN INVESTORS DREAM

I just finished using two Internet screening and stock report tools for the first time.As a first step I listed the 100 stocks with the biggest declines in the last month. There are 4 Y2K stocks on this list in order of the degree of decline(IMRS,MAST,SYNT,CBSL). IMRS has the 5th worst 30 day price record among 7500 companies and CBSL the 38th. I then carefully examined the financial history of the worst 20.ALL of these worst 20 stocks with the exception of IMRS and MAST had poor or very poor financial histories. IMRS has a forward 1998 PE of only 94% of the 1998-1999 growth rate.Roughly similar absurd values are the case for the other 3 Y2K service stocks. While it is true that a significant correction was overdue for these stocks which all ran up appreciably in the first 3 1/2 months of this year I AM VERY CONFIDENT THAT THE SERVICE COMPANIES HAVE AS A GOOD A 6 MONTH REWARD VERSUS RISK PROFILE AS YOU CAN EXPECT IN THE CHOPPY MARKET WE ARE IN NOW.
