Merced, Re: > "Its funny how the world change, just one and half week ago everyone was so bullish" <

Wait another one and half weeks and maybe everything will turn bullish again?

The Fed voted 11 to 1 toward a tightening stance. This in the face of a huge Asia slowdown just starting to hit our economy (Greenspan's reference). And most of the tech stocks are in slow growth phase and have been for past 6 months! So what the hell gives here? Who's bull s**ten who? Just another form of market manipulation? Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

Intel may hit 70 or 65 or 60 but where does it go from there? It's not as thought it's a stone rolling off a roof. It's panic, fear and market manipulation at the highest level. Those that surmise it come on this thread and start the bull as though they have some infinite wisdom about a complex company and it's future fate. You call yourself Merced Trader and quit at the first sign of danger and then turn around to slash the troops behind you when you should be standing your ground. Face the future with pride that you have made a decision based upon what you believe is positive and stop acting negative. Investing is a high stakes game that teaches us what we are really made of!

I chose Intel because they are a cash generating machine with the talent to withstand any foe and leave them in the dust. They have done it in so many times before what's so different about this time?

SHORTS BEWARE YOU HAVE BEEN FARE WARNED!!!!

That's because too many of us are Manic-depressives with Attention Deficit Disorder.

"just one and half week ago everyone was so bullish" ... No, not everyone. There were some of us who didn't buy all the malarky put out by some of these foolishly irrational INTC bulls on this board, who choose to engage in denial... but if you did have an open mind, it was easy to see what is happening to INTC...

#1) Insiders DUMPING stock - unprecedented... including Director 600K block

#2) INTC "bait and switch" with Celeron Chip deliberately released as computationally challenged in order to switch customers to higher end product (this is a real publicity problem for them today). INTEL INSIDE now means less for more.

#3) Andy Grove visit to Taiwan, pleading for Celeron Design wins. First trip to Taiwan in 10 years, he had the nerve to say "we are all one family" to them after INTC ruined their motherboard business in Taiwan... what a joke !!

#4) Andy Grove Retirement - His paranoia of walking out as a loser drove him to quit...

#5) The vehement denials by the posters on this board of the negatives
surrounding the stock.

#6) Discounting of sub$1000 PC market and competitor offerings.

Yep, all the signs were there... Ignorance is bliss - NOT!

Maybe $60 is too high an entry point...

Silicon Valley knows the truth about Intel, and there is nowhere to hide... getting closer to earnings pre announcement every day...
this is what happens when a company refuses to listen to their customers and consumer demand... The louder these bulls scream on this board, the lower INTC stock will go...
