House votes to stop technology sales to China Associated Press - Posted at 1:15 p.m. PDT Wednesday, May 20, 1998 Amid allegations that high-technology exports to China jeopardized national security, the House voted overwhelmingly today to put sharp limits on future exports and to condemn the administration's past practices. ''Congress should be heard loud and clear before the president travels to China next month,'' said Rep.
